I’m having a lot of fun with the game so far. I’m enjoying all of the exploration, combat, and stat boosting. It feels like there may be even more things to learn or find and I can’t wait. And it doesn’t feel like the game is done with the tutorials yet. The game helps you out and keeps you informed of important gameplay mechanics. The game also makes sure you understand each and every one of its mechanics with quick tutorials as you progress in the game. This is a fantastic addition to the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 battles. But this super character is much stronger than your regular characters and there is even a chart to upgrade the character more. This combination is limited and after a short time, the characters become separate again. There is also a way that two characters can combine into one to create a super character. Each class has its own unique weapon and set of skills.

And the introduction of job classes into this game really adds a lot to the combat. The player does get to direct special attacks though. The game’s combat is a lot like previous Xenoblade’s because the characters auto-attack. You can also swim in this game too and actually fight in the water! Thankfully battles, finding items, and the aforementioned skirmishes break up the walking a bit. Sometimes you are forced to hoof it back to places you’ve been too. There is handy fast travel to areas you’ve already visited but when you go to new places, you’ll have to hoof it there. Xenoblade’s world is so big that you do kind of wish there was a vehicle or something to make it easier or faster to get to the next place. It’s a nice distraction when you are walking along to your next destination. It can be a tough choice sometimes! One side might offer experience and gold and the other affinity points to a colony or something else. You can choose a side in these battles and there are different rewards for whoever you help. One of the best things you’ll find in the game are the random battles between monsters or humans. It also means there’s tons of things to find and do.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s world is vast and that means there is a lot of walking in this game.
